Product update: post & upvote feedback on behalf of others

Post and upvote product feedback on behalf of others
Mark Sharpe

Company users can now add and upvote feedback on behalf of others.

This feature helps you

  • Add feedback that comes in through other channels to your feedback page. If you have feedback coming in through other channels such as sales or customer service, you can now add or upvote that feedback on behalf of the customer.
  • Manage all incoming feedback on a private feedback page. Add incoming feedback to your private feedback page by posting and voting on behalf of your customers. This allows you to keep track of who has requested what.

When you add feedback as a company user, you now have the option of adding that you are posting on behalf of someone.

And when you open a feedback post as a company user, you now have the option of voting for that feedback on behalf of someone else.

When you post or vote for someone else, you have the option of adding their email address. If you want to send them automatic emails when you update the status of the feedback, make sure to add their email address (read more about how our product update announcements work).
